Cider making is much easier than brewing beer, but it does require the same amount of cleaning. Clean and sanitize a 6 gallon carboy, lid, and blow off tube.
- 5 gallon Pasteurized Apple Juice
- 0.5 teaspoon Fermaid-K
- 0.25 teaspoon DAP
- 1 pkg WLP028 Edinburgh Ale Yeast
Pour the apple juice into the carboy, add yeast and Fermaid-K. Shake for one minute to add air. In 4 weeks or so, you will have cider.
